For the “Scratch Golfer” or the “Just for fun Golfer” (like me), there are 26 public and semi-private courses. Also a wide variety of private clubs and developments to choose from. Many of these courses are designed by top name golfers and there are several major and senior tournaments every year. If golf is not your game (and it should not be mine). There are many other activities to keep you busy.

Like, fishing, boating, tennis or, how about doing nothing. We have that too. As for activities to watch besides golf, we have major tennis tournaments occasionally. We have “Spring Training Baseball” and “Semi-Pro Hockey” with the “Everblades." We also boast the only “Swamp Buggy Races” anywhere. They are held several times a year (you have not lived until you have seen this).

OK now you are tired. What’s for dinner? -RESERVATIONS!! There are many different restaurants to try.

SHOPPING? We have shopping from the major malls to the most quaint and unique shops. From 3RD ST. and 5TH AVE. To Waterside, Promenade,Venetian Village,Pavilion, Coastland Mall. Also Miramar and Prime Outlet’s.
